ANGA COM 2017- Where Broadband Meets Content

It seems as if the annual ANGA COM had a fantastic start yesterday in Cologne, Germany. The event comprises of exhibitions and congresses all designed to showcase the broadband, cable and satellite industry. Over18,000 business visitors, 2,000 congress attendees and 450 exhibitors from 37 countries will be in attendance to discuss the latest developments within the industry. This year the conference will focus on Gigabit Networks and New TV.
Some of the topics up that will be up for discussion over the three-day event include, New Co-Operation Models, DOCSIS 3.1, Wi-Fi, Internet of Things, Smart Home, Smart City, AppTV, OTT, HD, UHDTV, DVB-T2, Virtual Reality, Big Data, Personalized TV, Copyright and the Diversity of Providers in the Television Market. There is a huge number of industry names participating throughout the event, each providing a unique insight into this wide-reaching market.
Today, the Director of Regulatory Affairs & Network Standards at Ruckus Wireless joins a panel of other industry names to discuss the overarching theme of ‘Wireless Convergence and Optimizing Wi-Fi Coverage’. Ruckus also have a stand at the convention and will be there throughout the conference to showcase their latest Wi-Fi solutions.
On Thursday, the event will also host a “Broadband Day”, which will discuss infrastructure topics and addresses cable and fibre optic network operators as well as promoting the industry. There is also free access for all visitors on this day, so it is sure to be an engaging experience for all involved.
