Following our recent Senior Leadership Announcement, we are excited to announce four new Director roles within IMS. All four appointments are for personnel who have been operating in leadership roles for several years.

As an organization, these appointments create a structure to facilitate our ongoing growth strategy. A key objective as we grow is to provide career progression pathways for every member of our team and these appointments are another step on that journey. Personally, I thoroughly enjoy working with Declan, Gerard, Julian, and Nigel and look forward to continuing our journey together.”
Commercial Director: Julian Lloyd
IMS first met Julian when he was our Senior Account Manager with Purdicom in 2010. As a Ruckus tier 1 partner, IMS relied on Purdicom as a key distributor to partner with us in delivering projects all over Europe. Our experience with Julian during that time was exceptional. He truly partnered with us to grow our business. His product and industry knowledge were second to none. We maintained a strong relationship over the years and continued to do high volumes of business with Julian in his different roles and companies since 2010. People buy from people and our experience with Julian proves just that. When Julian was looking for a new opportunity in 2020, we were delighted to make him part of team IMS. We knew from experience how he could partner with our customers to help them grow their business and he has been doing this exceptionally well since joining our team.
Finance Director: Declan O’Halloran
Declan joined IMS in January 2019 as an ACCA qualified accountant following seven years in practice. Since joining, Declan has transformed the accounting function of our business. Every decision we now make is informed by accurate financial data which is essential for a growing organisation in a fast-paced industry. Declan brings a wealth of experience from his time in practice which has been essential in driving good governance and solid business growth initiatives. Declan is highly considerate of the customer experience and has introduced automation tools and electronic payment methods for frictionless billing and transactions for our customers. Declan has become a key advisor on strategic growth with a unique ability to balance a pragmatic approach with the bigger picture and long-term view. In addition to his financial expertise, Declan launched the IMS Wellness Committee shortly after joining which has been a great success for Team IMS.
Innovation Director: Nigel Finch
Nigel has been working in our industry since 2011 and joined IMS in 2013. With his vast experience, a degree in Electronic Engineering, and a Master’s in Renewable Energy Systems, Nigel is the perfect leader of our Innovation team. Nigel’s focus each day is to create new and evolve existing sustainable products that enhance the guest experience. Nigel has been involved in all technical areas of the organisation in the past from site network deployment to core network design and build. Nigel has led the adoption of automation technology in our organisation to monitor, deploy, and configure hardware at scale. Nigel is passionate about software development and joined IMS from a successful software start-up which he co-founded. He has carried this passion into IMS and led the development of numerous software products that are central to our value offering to customers today. His latest innovation is the IMS customer portal which is designed to give all customers visibility of technology performance, data and insights, reports, billing, support, account management, and much more to bring further value to our customers.
Operations Director: Gerard Quinn
Gerard has been working in technology, media, and broadcast for over 15 years. He brings vast experience from small, medium, and large organisations. He has led many large teams and run highly technical operations often involving the delivery of mission critical broadcast. Gerard joined team IMS in 2021 and has made a great impression with our team and customers in this time. He has been central to implementing our 24/7 support model and building out our support and service delivery teams. He has introduced automated tools and processes for more efficiency to deliver a better experience for our customers and our customers’ guests. He has also led a number of upgrades on core infrastructure to support the ongoing growth of our customer base. With his significant leadership experience, Gerard is the perfect Operations Director to support the ambitious growth plans that we have in the coming years.
