Cloudforests was founded in April 2020 By Bernard Pender. Bernard was a founding partner of one of Ireland’s leading forestry companies and has extensive experience in the forestry and online technology sectors. Their mission is to help save the planet. They are focused on climate change & environmental protection. They have a simple clear plan to create one hundred Cloudforests along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. These forests are solely being created for the planet. These forests feature live HD video streaming, weather reports, pollinator-friendly wildflower meadows, and new bird & bat habitats. A Cloudforest is created under our strict climate action plan using close to nature principles. Cloudforests are passionate about being involved with the communities in which they operate. They believe in community involvement, investment, and jobs. Our aim is to partner with communities & clubs. There is no sustainability without the involvement of the local community in which Cloudforests are created.
At IMS we believe that financial business success is irrelevant if it comes at a cost to society or the planet. We are on a mission to be carbon negative by 2025. Commenting on joining the CoolPartner Community our COO Denis Ahern stated “We are delighted to support the Cloudforest CoolPartner programme as part of this mission and look forward to seeing where the journey leads.
