Integrated Media Solutions was delighted to work closely with the Kilkee Development Company on the newly opened Elliot Centre Kilkee. This is an exciting new business that will make a huge difference to anyone needing a remote office, lecture facilities or a place to meet. With a high-speed fiber connection, a state-of-the-art Ruckus Wi-Fi system and the latest video-conferencing technology – IMS has helped create a cutting edge shared workspace for locals and visitors to the area.
Kilkee Enterprise Development Company (KEDCO) is a non-profit social enterprise set up by the Kilkee Chamber of Commerce. Its role is to identify and deliver projects that will improve the fabric of the town, creating a better place to live, work and visit. The opening of the Elliott Centre is a stunning example of their fantastic work. Remote working is becoming a growing trend in Ireland, with many far-reaching benefits including being a powerful tool for community development. Today, over 200,000 people work remotely from home or a shared workspace in Ireland.
The Elliot Centre is ideally situated in the seaside town of Kilkee. It is 15 minutes to the nearby market town of Kilrush, 45 minutes to the county town of Ennis, the national motorway and rail network and less than 1 hour from Shannon Airport with its international connectivity.
