Last Tuesday (22-2-22), Team IMS was very proud and excited to be a part of Cloudforests. ie planting day in Doonaha on the wonderful Loop Head Peninsula in county Clare. Along with the first twenty CoolPartners, we came together to create the first of the Coolforests.ie community forests. We are CoolPartner014 of a community of 27 visionary businesses.
Cloudforests own five forests on the Dingle Peninsula and have now planted over 30,000 trees. On Tuesday, we were delighted to do our small part. A huge thank you to all the team at Cloudforests.ie and the CoolPartners who made the trip down to Cloudforest Three and planted their miniature CloudForest. We can’t wait for the next one!
We captured lots of video content from the day, which we’ll be posting across our platforms over the next few days, so watch this space!
The Planning for the next community Planting Day in 2023 has already begun. This will be another incredible opportunity for the next batch of CoolPartners to plant their very own Minature Cloudforest, along Irelands Wild Atlantic Way.
We are a community of businesses who truly care about climate action and #MakingPlanetEarthCool!
Cloudforests was founded in April 2020 By Bernard Pender. Bernard was a founding partner of one of Ireland’s leading forestry companies and has extensive experience in the forestry and online technology sectors. Their mission is to help save the planet. They are focused on climate change & environmental protection. They have a simple clear plan to create one hundred Cloudforests along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. These forests are solely being created for the planet. These forests feature live HD video streaming, weather reports, pollinator-friendly wildflower meadows, and new bird & bat habitats. A Cloudforest is created under our strict climate action plan using close to nature principles. Cloudforests are passionate about being involved with the communities in which they operate. They believe in community involvement, investment, and jobs. Their aim is to partner with communities & clubs. There is no sustainability without the involvement of the local community in which Cloudforests are created.
